Mark Dichter to relocate to Morgan Lewis London branch
Morgan Lewis announced on Nov. 9 that Mark S. Dichter, one of the most successful partners in its Labour and Employment Practice, will relocate to London and begin splitting his time among the firm’s London and U.S. offices.
This move comes after the firm announced earlier this year it plans to focus its efforts in London toward nurturing its corporate, employment and energy practices.
“As many of our clients have expanded outside the United States, it became apparent that our clients and the firm would benefit from Mark’s establishing a residence in London,” noted Firm Chair Francis M. Milone. “Mark’s presence in London demonstrates the firm’s commitment to the continued growth and expansion of our practices in Europe.”
Morgan Lewis provides transactional, litigation, labor and employment, and intellectual property legal services to clients ranging in size of global Fortune 100 companies to startups across all major industries.
Dichter, who has worked for the Morgan Lewis Philadelphia and New York offices for many years, has been named the “World’s Leading Labour and Employment Lawyer” by Who’s Who Legal for the past three years. He will continue as the chair of the firm’s Labour and Employment Practice, which has been a winner and perennial finalist in The American Lawyer’s biannual “Litigation Department of the Year—Labor and Employment” contest since 2004.
“While Mark has won many U.S. and international awards, he is best known for his team spirit and selfless devotion to our clients,” added Charles G. Lubar, Managing Partner of the firm’s London office. “We are thrilled to welcome him to the U.K.”
