The number of recognized lawyers increased by 20 since last year’s survey.
A press release from the McGuireWoods website titled “National Regulatory Leader Joins McGuireWoods” announces the joining of James Yancey Kerr II, presently a member of the North Carolina Utilities Commission and the immediate Past President of the National Association of Regulatory Commissioners (NARUC), as partner in the Raleigh and Washington, D.C. offices of the US law firm McGuireWoods. Kerr will also lead the law firm’s new national energy policy practice in providing a broad range of solutions to clients’ legal needs in the energy sector.

Geoffrey C. Cockrell, Mark A. Kromkowski and Michael P. Lusk all previously worked for another Chicago-based firm, Wildman Harrold.
